App with IPTV lists for watching TV on your Android
A good application with IPTV lists can open the door to a range of global TV that you would never have imagined. This is the case with ProgTV, an app that works as a multimedia player but whose main feature is supporting the addition of IPTV lists.
TV channels from all over the world by using lists
This application allows TV signals to be played live. It doesn't come with any channels already added but it is rather the user who gets to add them manually using links or text files, for example.
These are its main features:
- Supports different types of font: IPTV through HTTP, M3U lists, EPG guides in XMLTV and JTV in ZIP and GZIP formats, ProgDVD Internet TV and radio lists, Torrent TV links...
- Timeshift for pausing and rewinding content.
- Recording of programs and channels while they play.
- Supports subtitles.
- Information on general channel data.
- Multiple support for several channel lists.
- List of favorites.
- Graphic equalizer.
The interface is sober and functional and doesn't have any advertising, which is why it is an excellent option for anyone looking for an alternative to apps like You TV Player and company, who offer pre-selected channels.
Requirements and additional information:
- Minimum operating system requirements: Android 4.1.
- Offers in-app purchases.
With a degree in History, and later, in Documentation, I have over a decade of experience testing and writing about apps: reviews, guides, articles, news, tricks, and more. They have been countless, especially on Android, an operating system...
